I'm feeling utterly confused with life these days. Kind of like this dialogue:
Buffy: Does it ever get easy?
Giles: You mean life?
Buffy: Yeah. Does it get easy?
Giles: What do you want me to say?
Buffy: Lie to me.
Giles: Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.
Buffy: Liar.
Please do something with this dialogue, in the form of a poem. That is the prompt, use is as you wish, but no prose or paragraph form.
No line limits.
No word limits.
Use any backgrounds you want, as long as the text is readable.
Now, write!

Interesting contest, it caught my eye because I actually wrote a piece to this episode called "Lie to me". I wrote it after being moved greatly by that episode. Not trying to advertise or anything, I just thought it a very interesting coincidence that I had wrote a piece a while back on this very exchange of dialog from Buffy. Glad to see someone else was as moved. You can see the piece I wrote below.

Okay. So I am incredibly lame.
I wrote a poem for this and accidently just added it to my general collection instead of editing my reserve for this conest. If you don't want to let me submit the poem as a prewrite I more than understand. We all must feel the jester at some point in time.

I can send you the link if you like. -

I've edited the contest to accept prewrites. Feel free to submit yours now.
