"Some choices we live not only once but a thousand times over, remembering them for the rest of our lives."--Richard Bach
I found this quote today on thinkexist.com and it really struck me. How many decisions do we make that affect the rest of our lives? I know I've made a lot of mistakes and decisions that still haunt me today, years after I made them. Lately, I've been haunted by every decision I've made just because I've been wallowing in self-pity. So please, help me see that I'm not the only one completely haunted by the decisions I've made.
So the quote is your prompt. It can be taken in a positive way, or negative. Whatever you'd like.
I wrote a poem today inspired by this quote. It's called Falling Short. If you want to look and see how I took it, either go to my profile or just follow the link below.

So here's the rules:
1) You bash, you're out.
2) Give me a little background as to what you're writing about. I don't need a book. A simple sentence or two would just help me fully understand where you're coming from.
3) You can enter up to five times, but if you do decide to, please make sure you don't repeat yourself.
Yeah, I don't have any other rules.
Oh. And don't sTaRt tYpInG lIkE tHiS. I won't be happy.
Oh and the image is from http://fiftyonefiftyone.com/uploaded_images/Decisions-714972.jpg. I just googled "decisions."
Have a good time.
Ready. Set.
