Inspiration - Celebrating my Fifth year on allpoetry

So simple contest with simple rules

I would like to find out what inspires you. But I want you to pick your insiration and then let it inspire you.

So pick an inspiration, it can be anything you want (boyfriend, a song lyric, etc)
Write your piece (with the rules I'll tell you what I like)
THEN write a short paragraph (I'd like at least five lines, if you can write more then that great! This is a writing site so I won't put a length lmit!) telling me about what your inspiration was, and how it came to inspire you!
If you are unsure how to write this feel free to message me and I'd love to help you!!

You are NOT being judged on how that paragraph is written, but if it is not written, or there is nothing behind it then you will be disqualified!

Simple right?

I've lost some inspiration lately which is why I'm holding this contest.

First place is 400 points
Second place is 200 points
Third place is 100 points
And I have two honorable mentions for 30 points
If I feel it is needed I'll add more honorable mentions and those will also recieve thirty points!

RULES:
1. Obviously you need to have your inspiration paragraph!
2. No StIcKy CrAp. I can't stand it
3. I'm horrible at grammer, but at least use the spell checker, it doesn't need to be perfect, but please keep it readable.
4. Have fun!

What I like in a poem:
1. I like things to be unique, interesting catchy lines
2. I love to write and read lyrics hint hint
3. I love rhyme,but if you can roll out an awesome free verse, then do it.
4. I love somthing with a ton of emotion and an unique and awesome rythem.
5. If you still want ideas, read my poetry, some of it sucks, some of its good, but alot of it is in styles I like.

    Hey guys.
    First off:
    Sorry this took so long!! I've been so busy.

    Second off, I have a strange rule where I don't comment before the contest is over.

    So if you would like a comment please message me with a link to your poem and I'd gladly write all of you a long comment, and I'll try to be constructive.

    Many of you are writing well above me so I make no promises haha.

    I just hate writing the comments before the contest is over because A. it gives away things sometimes, and B. I don't want to rush through the comments to finish them all in time!

    You all did amazing, and I appreciated all of the things about inspiration, a lot of you wrote way more then expected and I really appreciated it!

    Fourth,
    Honorable mentions are in no specific order.

    And just so you know, I only had room for so many, but Snow Drift also made the finalists!

    Mine was a prewrite so heres my little paragraph... LoL...
    I looked outside and decided to go with soceity. I saw a traffic light and found that thats what we need. A little stop to think about what soceity is doing to the world.

      I cannot see who wrote what poem, that is hidden from me.
      You are going to need to edit your poem, place it in there.
      You can remove it after I've judged the contest.
