A Grand Farewell to All Poetry

Good day, magnificent poets!

I will be leaving All Poetry soon, to search out alternative outlets for my craft. I feel that I've reached a creative plateau with you lovely people. For all those that have influenced my work, I wish to thank you.

There are a few points available, all for the Gold and the winner will also receive any points I get for running the contest and my comments.

I would like to see poetry submitted with the theme of goodbyes. Prewrites are welcome!

Now for the disgusting part... da rulez!!!

#5 - Play nice folks!

#1009 - ?

#2 - When in Rome...

#93 - Find delight in the absurd!

#1 - Any style is welcome!

#7 - Have fun!

Thank you!

Best of luck with your journey

Hi Great Cthulhu. Good luck with your search for alternative craft after allpoetry. I myself went to another place to share my poetry in 2007 to broaden my horizons. It was one of those life crisis things, I think, but I was so glad that I did. It's really a growing experience and you can learn so much about yourself by meeting new people and sharing ideas with others. Though, I have so many friends on AP that I felt like I could never completely leave, so I always stop by here just to see how the good old gang is. I try to keep a balance between allpoetry and my new venture, and so far I've been able to do both with ease.

Anyway, just wanted to say best of luck to you and hope things work out for the best. Always keep that pen flowing.

    Haley Mary

Congratulations on feeling ready to leave the cosy nest of Allpoetry. And good wishes for your future career! But why leave Allpoetry completely? Why not stay in touch, and display poems here AFTER they have been published in outlets in the "outside world"? That is what many of us do!
