BluesMan Tribute (Open to everyone!)




I'm spitting feather's because I wrote a poem and was about to enter one of BluesMan's contests about his GOLD 50th, when I realised that it was supposed to be a rhyming poem. Haigh erg gnashing of many teeth!

Well, what's a psycho supposed to do about it? Run a contest I thought. Here's my offering to Bluesman, give me yours. If you don't know him here's his pic on his profile, imagine you know him:

From Whence Does Gold Arise?

From the ground as solid mass
smelted and moulded
into shapes
Cast into icons
cherished and worshiped
Placed as high ideals

I wonder...

St John's Wort petals
gleaming golden in the sun
Spreading fragrance
through the air
Lifting spirits
healing minds

Or could it be...

The golden lilt in your eyes
surrounding your iris
Offering your love

Holding little ones
in your arms
and being the man you are......

    Thanks for the silver and congrats to the other winners. HOWEVER..I would have done this one regardless as Bill is an absolute darling.
