Think about a Christmas memory, something from your past, growing up, recent, or even a future thought you have. I'd like to hear your memories, special poems and feelings about this holiday. Since this lends itself to a story-like feel, please go ahead and use that format if it works for you. I like old-fashioned writers, like Charles Dickens, Robert Frost and the Brownings, but I'm open to just about anything, and like popular genres too. The most important thing is have fun, and tell me a wonderful story or tale of the holiday!
Normal AP rules apply. No bashing Christmas!!! Be nice! Keep it to a friendly, level for everyone to enjoy and apply! Thanks!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on December 14, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 700, Silver: 400, Bronze: 150, Honorable mention: 5 people
- Final notes: This was one of the toughest contests I've judged to date! I appreciated each entry, and added a few HMs because I thought they were all so good! I ended up placing each in different categories, and then thinking through which one was best in that particular group. I also decided that older poems I would hold off on, and give preference to newer ones entered just for this contest. I like the fresh appeal of reading a newer poem. You all did an EXCELLENT job! I want to thank you for entering, and have a wonderful Christmas! You have certainly brightened my days as I've read and judged these!

Good evening:
As I add honey to my tea and slowly sip, I throw another log on the fire .It gently warms the room having a calming effect on me. I yawn, look out the window next to me and see the frozen field. Just passed theby Bosiarbooger 5 lines, 1 comment, on Dec 11 10:17 PM 2008. In Contest, Christmas
