" Well I've been afraid of changing, cause I built my life around you.
But time makes you bolder, even children get older,
and I'm getting older too. . . ."
Landslide
words and music by
C And J McVie of
Fleetwood Mac
Artist is J. Browne, it's called Waiting for the Tide.
It is NOT THE PROMPT.
But feel free to use it (as a prompt) if you need to.
Hello my poetic friends,
Find a tie in, and run with it.
Try to stay somewhere inside the prompt's atmosphere, but other than that, I cannot tell you what to write.
Hint to give you the advantage: I'm really digging prose right now.
Please note, I will not be impressed by form.
I look for content, and my emotional reaction.
I will not put a limit on your muse,
but please do not enter a thesis, unless you have to.
ALL I ASK is that you pay attention to the mood inside the song.
That's it.
You do NOT have to know the song, but it does help.
Yes, I will add more points as I see we might need them.
Have a happy Thanksgiving Holiday folks, wherever you are
.
Love jin

That's my favorite Stevie Nicks song!
-
In love, must enter, no closing without me!
-
Stevie Nicks writes sings this song orignally (though the Dixie chicks do do a cover). Love it!

-
All Stevie did was sing the song, she DID NOT WRITE IT.
Mick Fleetwood wrote it. The Dixie Chicks did do a recover, but the original is almost 35 years old. -

I have the BuckinghamNicks album that Mick Fleetwood was given to hear by the owner of the recording studio he was trying out. He was so impressed by them and the song Landside and a couple others on it that it led to him having both of them join the group.
By the way this contest does not have any winners only a glitch message you should talk to kevin
