  Thank-you for the entries everyone. I apologize for the length this took to judge.
  
  I have to say not many of these poems made me change my mind about any aspect of "emo" poems; unless I stated somewhere in your comment what I liked (you know who you are).
  
  My final decision was very immediate and obvious to me.
  
  First place was a poem that just spoke to me, called out and took an indepth, refreshing take on a cliche topic.
  
  Second place was a dirty pretty poem with all the dirty pretty usuals that I actually liked because of the more powerful spin of emotion that was put in it.
  
  In third place was an "emo" poem that was actually able to make me feel the emotion in it.
  
  There were also some other pieces that I appreciated for the quality of their pieces.
