and This is Unrequited

It's as simple as this. Write a poem (or prose) incorperating the torture of mixed signals, and, more importantly, unrequited love or desire. I want to be able to experience your pain and your confusion and the feelings (love, lust, etc) of which it is a result. Whatever emotions you are feeling, make them beautiful!

Keep in mind:
-Pre-written poems are allowed.
- You cannot submit more than one entry.
- You will not be eliminated for posting erotic material, but erotica should not be the focus of your entry. That is not the prompt.
- It helps if I can relate.
- I am not partial to any particular style, but I do think repetition can be a really powerful literary device.
- Therefore, do not feel obliged to utilize a specific rhyme scheme. One of my biggest pet peeves is poetry that is FORCED to rhyme!
- Please put your AP name in your author's notes!
- I like things that make me think.

Good luck!
