Hey there everyone
I recently learnt about a new form of writing - 6 Word Stories, as first developed by famous author Ernest Hemingway.
So what I would like today is for you to write me a 6 word poem/story!
Try to convey as much meaning and emotion as possible, adhering to the word limit, of course. Obviously, this is a great deal harder than writing a longer poem or narrative, because you are unable to use more words for in-depth description and discussion. However, as poets and writers, this limiting exersize is both fun and good for writing development.
Here are a few quick rules. Please ensure that you follow them
- no profanity/swearing
- no adult writes, I won't be able to view them
- no racist/sexist/bias/mean writes of any kind
- no sTiCkY kEyS
- no sp3ak!ng l!k3 th!s
Note: prewrites ARE permitted, so long as they conform to the rules and are a maximum of 6 words!
A few examples include:
♥ "For sale: baby shoes, never worn." - Ernest Hemingway
♥ "Vacuum collision. Orbits diverge. Farewell, love." - David Brin
♥ "To save humankind he died again." - Ben Bova
♥ "Epitaph: he shouldn't have fed it." - Brian Herbert
♥ "Cryonics: Disney thawed. Mickey gnawed. Omigawd." - Eileen Gunn
So good luck to everyone!
Remember: maximum of 6 words.
By the way, more points will hopefully be added soon!
Best wishes, love and light.

Note: This is dedicated to my sweet, dear AP Mummy WolfHeart, who has been so very kind to me and donated to this contest. Thank you
