I have so many reasons to be grateful, that one day a year is not enough to give thanks!!

For this contest, please ponder the opposite of what troubles us, of what burdens we carry, of what needs repaired. Send out some joyful praise at even the smallest of details of life that deserve notice and thanks. It is often the blink of an eye that changes our lives forever; take a moment to ponder one of those beautiful moments and right about how richly it impacts us for the positive.
I hope that the process is a gift in itself. I hope this finds you all richly blessed.

- Final notes: Thank you all for the beautiful inspirational words. Thank you for sharing bits of your lives and hearts in this way. Some pieces made me cry, all made me ponder and pray and count my blessings once again. Each piece, whether old or new, written specifically for this contest or for many, had individual ingredients of faith and sparkled with life and love. I held off commenting on almost all until the judging to try not to get caught up in the emotion of the moment, but to truly give each piece time to have its own place and its own meaning. Each one truly deserves a trophy, as I said, the sharing is a blessing. Please look over the works of one another if you have not already. My thanks and my prayers go out to each artist.
