Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on December 17, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 500, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 8 people
  • Final notes:
First i want to thank each one of you for writing for this contest.
The picture was my son and it was his idea to hold the contest.

I read each one two or three times, i may have not left a comment because i share the PC with the whole family.
So my apologies for that, you each had great thoughts and i was pleased.

This was very hard to judge each of you did so well.
I gave extra honorables for some.
My top three winners were excellent and again thank you.

    Best regards,
    ~Lisa~

Great thought for this contest, it really shows that people really care about our military. It looks like he is scared in this picture.

I entered this contest to let you know the feelings of a parent who's son had been

over there and Thank God is back safely - I do know the stress you have or will feel it is not easy. I feels like some one has you by wome kind of a string and you can't move. You are afraid to move for fear of what will happen. I do feel it is important to pray for all of the personal over there till we have all of our people home safe in our arms once again.
It is hard for another one to say I know how you feel even if they have had the shoes on at the same time. Personal feelings are truely personal feelings and how they affect each of us. Good luck to the man, and May God be with him and the best of Christmas to you nand may your next Christmas be even better as he will be home for Christmas...mac
