I so enjoyed my last contest that I am going to have another one

Your prompt is
"In the shadows"
Please make it even harder than last time!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on December 5, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 600, Silver: 300, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 1 people
- Final notes: My second contest and yet it seems like I have done dozens!
The four winners and the two other finallists are all different and there were many other good poems here too. The winner is a delightful dance of a poem in a unique form and worth anyone reading.
The second is brilliantly sad and yet with a positive ending from probably the best sad poet on site and in third place we have a free verse of childhood memories that evokes such feeling.
The HM is interesting to compare to the winner each being Kyrielle sonnets but very different.
I would commend all the finallists to you as well worth the time to read, and the others too were very enjoyable so thanks to you all, I shall be back!
