Holy cripes I've been depressed and feeling hopeless! Mom's been deathly ill, and dad has been keeping me away from her. I'm sort of the black sheep in the family. Apparently they don't need me. I was adopted. I'm disposable, I guess. I put my old dog to sleep this past Monday. I miss him. My muse is all but dead or dying.

I've just been spiraling into a deep, dark depression and I need some help getting out of it. So, I'm calling on my favorite AP friends to help. Please! Whether you're on my list or I'm on yours, please pen me something original. Pen me what you pen best. If it's dark, then write dark. If it's erotica, then pen me erotica. Is humor your style? Then pen me humor! Just be yourself, and that will make me the happiest. Don't try to "fix" me with inspiration unless inspirational writes are what you do best.
I'm counting on you guys and gals. I hope you're up to the challenge, because I'm desperate.

- Final notes: PLEASE READ!!!! This was the most difficult contest to judge, because I wanted to give everyone golds just for being so thoughtful and caring. You all mean a lot to me, and you stood by my side during a really shitty time. THANK YOU for helping to lift this cloud that's hanging over me.
The Gold (Holy Haven), Silver (Her Shell) and Bronze (All That Chaos) really stood out for me, although there were a few poems (Truth of Touch, Meet Me in Paris, and Strands of Years) that gave them a run for their money!!
I almost gave everyone HM’s, but that doesn’t feel good to some people. The HM’s are all pieces that had an extra kick to them. Again, I feel rally bad that I didn’t give everyone something, because you all deserve it. I LOVE ALL OF YOU!

I really am humbled to receive this Gold......you are correct, there were so many more deserving......but they'll have to break my arms to take it away!
