- Final notes: Thank you! Thank you for all the wonderful entries. I enjoyed the pieces. Everyone showed gratitude in their work and it was a joy to read. Reading these fine pieces were uplifting to my heart and helped me have a thankful attitude.
"A Christmas Prayer" was my favorite. I thought it was a well written poem with a good message.
"Gather Joy" was well written too. I liked the mirror image affect of the piece.
"A Reason for the Season" had the simple but true message that we all need to show thanks to Jesus for his love. He is the reason we have these holidays.
I also loved the pieces that I chose for honorable mentions. Choosing 2nd and 3rd was difficult. I especially liked the message for the pieces that I chose for honorable mentions. I hope eveyone will take time to read the pieces in this contest. More imporatantly I hope everyone has an attitude of thankfulness troughtout the season.
