#162 My favorite contest prompt by Meroza

If you are like me, you see something different each time you close your eyes, so you may enter as many times as you want. Feel free to reserve a spot but please have your piece finished by closing.


The only rule for this contest is that you MUST have fun.
I’m not allowing pre writes for this contest because it’s suppose to be a spur of the moment poem, not one already written.

Here is your prompt:

"Close your eyes and tell me what you see"

In short, you are to write a poem about the first thing you see
when closing your eyes. If you see colors, write a poem about
colors, or if you see a brick fence and yellow flowers, write about
that.
