Write a poem commenting on Carl Sandburg's short poem "THE FOG comes in on little cat feet." I want poems that are either written in a similar style or that comment on that poem! It's your choice -- give me your most creative Free Verse, ONLY, in the terse Sandburg style.
All the usual rules apply!
Keep it short -- no more than 10 lines or 50 words!
Get creative, poets -- I want short poetic gems!
Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on December 1, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 5 people
- Final notes: Thank you all for your fine entries! Again, this one was very tough to judge! I had to DQ a few of you for being too windy -- over the 10 line limit! By and large, however, all submittals were very good! I thank you all for trying so hard! HM's are in no special order!

The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city

Thanks so much for the honor of the gold. Fog is something I know about living on an Island in the North Atlantic, it gets as thick as pea soup, lol. Congrats to all the winners and thanks for hosting Randy. Hugs, Bunny
