Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on November 25, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 400
- Final notes: Firstly, congrads to the winners. I went with the piece, for Gold, that had the strongest imagery, and for Silver that had the strongest emotion (with some pretty good abstract imagery) and Bronze I feel had some pretty good imagery and good structure.
Besides the winners, with the exception of a few pieces (you know who you are based on your comments), for a contest about imagery, there was very little imagery!
Imagery is not "lets see how many adjectives and descriptive words I can use" or "lets see if I can tell, tell, tell about a situation"... imagery is that image you get in front of you, that truly paints a picture that you see, and feel, and applies your sense. Imagery is that picture where emotions come from because you feel as though you are there.
Thank-you all for your entries.
