    God Bless...

God bless Rusty now resting in heaven
he was a pleasant gentlemanly poet
and every now and then we would chat
    bout poetry and personal philosophy
just two spirits sharing space and time
yes I can vouch for his voice was fine
he will be missed by myself and many many more
now he has laid down his poetic pen
to sit beside the Lord seated up above
Rest in sweet poetic essence of peace Rusty
you leave a legacy of light, light and love

I wish I could find more words to say but my words are heartfelt in every way

    Love and Light

    Yvette

Toni thank you for hosting this contest...a tribute to our friend and fellow poet.... I did not envy you judging I am sure as you say he would be very touched by the words people have written a modest man who has left us so many memories, poems and his trademark smile.
To all the entries Congratulations I know some of you were not familiar with David.
For those who I know considered 'rustynite' as a friend no words .........smile...........know you will understand just what that means.
This is a most special Gold for me my 12th and my most precious. Thank you

    Smile
