3000 Points For Gold, Rewrite A Famous Historical Lie!!!!

This is really going to be complicated people, but i'll do my best here, and for the remainder of this contest i need you all to understand that all my typing is being done with only my left hand, my right hand is severly injured, so please don't point out my spelling errors, there will be alot

I want you to write about a lie or something you consider in your own opinion to be a lie!

I want you to think really hard about something in world history (ie: a book, a person, an Incarna or Diety or Demigod, a historical event) and i want you to write about why you think its a lie.

If you happen to think of say, a popular...group of people that may or may not be following a lie or some form of deciet then you'll probably do good too.

If you can take the untruth tale or event and write about it in a dark or disturbing manner then that may...or may not, do good

Needless to say whatever you write about is up to you, your likely going to offend someone if you write what this contest is really about...if you think you can figure it out, but if you put your heart and soul behind it then you'll be amazing i'm sure. This contest is about getting your beliefs and your emotions behind them across, in whatever way you want to say them. Dark and twisted is good, but heartfelt and warming is fine too.

after the last two contest i highly suggest everyone read all the entries, because they are simply amazing, everone that has entered my previous two, my hat is off too you, you deserved your points and if you enter this contest i'll fight my hardest to make sure you get them

This contest is all for the gold, 3000 points for gold. 50 points to silver and bronze.

I just boosted it from 2000 to 3000 because i feel that if this goes anything like the last two contest, all contestants will deserve all the points i can give them

i have a few rules

No L33T
No Bashing anyones work
Label your work properly (violence needs Adult)
Short talk about your write in the author note please
I have to ask you please stay within the site rules

In the authors note please post "Gast Veihgan Du Maunkur", so i know you read the promt and the rules and you unerstand what we're aiming for here

Thats about it, other then that its pretty wide open to your imagination.

Anyone that comes in here looking to argue about this contest, or the previous ones that where deleted for just but unspoken reasons will be asked to leave, the mods don't like hostility so lets all try to be grown ups

Stand up for your beleif's, Let everyone know what you think and feel and by all means be brutally honest about it, i love brutal honesty!!!

I welcome all my old contestants, your amazing writers, and any of you new people best see there work before you enter to know that the bar of standard here is pretty high. Goodluck to all

This contest has been approved by AnnD, thank you for all your help and understanding

ahhh so that was why I couldn't find the contest we were discussing. I was honestly thinking about entering it. Sorry for it being deleted. I did understand where you were coming from... and I thought it could have been an interesting topic to write about...

      Through ignorance we kill love

A slight referance to the origins of this contest

It's evolving. Better not to limit it to religious issues.

Thanks man, this one had to be watered down a bit so that the mods would approve and i really want to see it through, so i deal with what i got

yea, that last title was a real eye catcher

my dad once told me 'there are no atheists in foxholes' ... i was wondering why he felt that way, being a war monger himself ... then i realized he meant that if you kill enough people and savage their lives enough, that they will have to believe in something,,, i have found that they usually do react to the savagery in ways unexpected and truthful but not the way he might have imagined ... anyhows, this contest brings that to mind, mine, and I may enter this contest, for it has made me think.

my head hurts now ... the pain is good

I've heard the same thing, from my grandfather. He explained it too me though, as he said it:

"When the world is burning all around you, you can be the toughest son of a bitch alive and you'll still find somthing to pray too, be it god, Buddha, or you own mother, you'll pray"

Needless to say i seen his point

Hey, are we allowed to enter another piece? Because I was ridiculously inspired while listening to Arch Enemy.

    Contest

Congrats everyone, for the strongest and most interesting contest I've entered yet. But an additional applause should go, I think, to Fennir Rising for having the gumption to delve into an area most are either too timid or unwilling to tackle - the two previously cancelled contests that resulted in the watering down of the introductory contest notes to suit, in effect, societies uninspired, insipid thinking tells many a yarn right there. Well done Fennir and everyone else! Keep it up :-)

Thanks for the gold. If you understood the poem maybe you will understand that we need to stop this new world order ideology now first by being educated and informed about it.
