Listed below are several imagery filled prompts. You all should have no trouble finding some to write for. You may enter once for each prompt.
I’m not asking for usernames, so it is possible that someone could win more than one cup. If this bothers you, please don’t enter.
If submitting adult material, please label as such.
The only rule is that you must put which prompt you used in you’re AN.
1. Madder than an old wet hen
2 As mean as a junkyard dog
3 So in love she was floating 12 inches off the ground
4 As nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs
5 As free as a butterfly just out of its cocoon
6 Faster than a runaway train
7 He sputtered his words one syllable at a time
8 She twisted her hands and bit her lip in frustration
9 He nearly popped the buttons off his shirt
10 As jumpy as a room full of kindergartners
11 The strange, dusky lilac twilight
12 Stronger than eight oxen pulling together
13 The full moon, a big ball of butter, shone down on the lake
14 As calm as a lake on a windless morning
15 The surface of the water glittered like a thousand mirrors
16 She’s/he’s the cream in my coffee
17 His heart nearly jumped out of his chest and his blood turned to ice water
18 The dragon’s breath smelled like your worst nightmare
19 A stained-glass slice of fruitcake
=====================================================================
Please note: I have started a new column with a list of words that lots of people including me are always having trouble using correctly. The link is below and if you have any to add to it, please feel free to do so. Thanks

OH! At first I thought the "160" meant that many prompts, so I had to check it out. Those are some very creative lines! Are they phrases picked out of your poetry?
-
-
No they aren't. As a matter of fact, my son brought them home from school and I sort of stole them
