I have too many Points.....

Okay my fine fellow poets, a few months ago I tried something new. I opened a contest based around an addline poem. I think it went well and would love to try again because frankly, I have way to many points and really need to pass them on.

Here is what happens. I started an addline poem (which is a poem that anyone on AP can add lines to) Every poet that wants to enter this contest must visit the link below and add a line to the poem that is both profound, fitting and unique. Then, you must enter the line as a new poem in this contest and also write a poem inspired by your line. I will score the winners by the creativity of both the line and their poem. Hope this is as successful as the last one.

a few guidelines...

Please keep it PG rated, also bad grammar is distracting. Behave and play nice with others. Oh, and have a blast.

Umm...this sounds really interesting, but...how exactly does it work? Lol.

Sorry, it was just a little confusing to me.

First, follow the link above. That will lead you to the addline poem. In what would usually be the comment box on normal poetry, there is a box inviting you to add a line to the piece. I would like you to take your time when thinking about a line. It needs to flow well with the last poets line and still be unique. Once you have done that, come back here to this contest, and write a new poem based on or inspired by the line you created for the addline poem. The winners will be picked based on how unique their line is, and on the quality of their poem. Hope that makes sense.

This is a great idea on how to promote addlines and even "add" to the idea.
