First off, let me begin by saying.....we will not tolerate snide remarks from any Entrant/Poet.....we take a lot of our own time and dedication to a cause, to give you the best read, review & critique possible... and hopefully offer some advice to some along the way......and we will not have you IM'ing us and telling us we are confused..>>>>

44 minutes ago Me thinks that it is you who are confused , for the poem in itself is self explanatory.
Why do you find it so hard to judge? Me thinks you think too much with the mind.And not the heart. For poetry is in all its creation the ink of it.
If you are above our skills as Judge or as a Poet, simply find another contest to place your work into and good luck & God bless you ~
If you know me, you know I am never going to hide personal remarks which bash the integrity we put into the PO' COntests.....we have had ( 93 ) PO' Contests, and we have not had any problem with Poers being rude........well, maybe once.....and then now.......if you are not happy with our reviews, simply pull your work and do not come back.....pretty simple ~
The PO' Contests were designed to look for the Creative side of your quills, the Beautiful Poetic Tone & Voice of the Poet......not Phylosophy or Informative pieces which we can find on Google.com ~
If you want to write common Themes about grassy fields with golden oats and bluebirds singing in the breeze, then the PO' Contests will find your work *Common*, and your scores shall plummet ~
The PO' Contests look for Creativity....something the older generation of Poets ( in general ) are having a harder and harder time penning ~
Sad.....really ~
There is a place for each type of talent and genre.......the PO' Contests look for CREATIVITY ~
If you think your entry is over-looked for certain qualities which the Judges have not seen, then we expect you to be kind, and let us know......no bashing of our judging skills will be tolerated, and harsh opinions will get you DQ'd from the PO' Contests quicker than it took me to type these Fianl Notes ~
My Judges have the greatest respect for each Poet who enters......and we expect the same in return.....period ~

Thank you for the comments & congrats to the winners. I agree my theme was common & will not argue that point ~ what was important to me, at least with this write, was Lisa's reaction.
