I bring you some of my favorite OLD lyrics lol or both...Your choice....
Here are the lyric snippets
"Kashmir" LedZeppelin
Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed
Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear
But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear
Oh, oh.
Oh, I been flying... mama, there ain't no denyin'
I've been flying, ain't no denyin', no denyin'
All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land
Trying to find, trying to find where I've been.
Blowin' In The WInd" Bob Dylan
How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
Tuesday's Gone" Lynyrd Skynyrd
Train roll on, on down the line,
Won't you please take me far away?
Now I feel the wind blow outside my door,
Means I'm leaving my woman behind.
Tuesday's gone with the wind.
My woman's gone with the wind.
Stairway To Heaven" Led Zeppelin
There's a feeling I get when I look to the west,
And my spirit is crying for leaving.
In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees,
And the voices of those who stand looking.
Ooh, it makes me wonder,
Ooh, it really makes me wonder.
And it's whispered that soon if we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason.
And a new day will dawn for those who stand long
And the forests will echo with laughter.
Just a few rules:
Sensual is great but no hard core erotica please
use spell check
no cutting/self harm
any style/form
specify chosen prompt in AN
be kind to all
Have fun

Thank you der Errant Panther and poet2angels for my honorable mention trophy!
I really did enjoy writing this poem as so many sentimental thoughts came into play with Bob Dylan's songs, and the picture prompt being I have been a pianist ...I just loved the inspiration both gave me! Thank you so much!
