A lil' two dayer - kinda quickie

Hi, folks!  Everyone's been so cool with their contests I wanted to try another, too.

 

This picture caught my eye last weekend.  To me it hit lemonade, iced tea (mighta been a mug 'o grog in there), friends telling jokes, arm around a sweetie and some meat on the smoker.  BUT- there are lots of things one can do in a screened-in porch with a nice breeze...especially when that sun goes down.

 

Could just be nostalgia for an age that's slowly fading from us all.

Requests:

 

- 50 lines or less (attention-span boy, here)

- Mark as "Adult" if it is!

- Limit to two entries, please

    Couldn't believe the quality. Youse guys and gals made me a little boy, again! Pray for ol' papa-bear to do the same for my kids- Lord willing.
    As is my habit, everyone who entered gets an Honorable mention. Not just because, but because the heart is obvious in every one. Special thanks to kgj for her insight, though I'm the culprit if the judging was askew. Thank you all and merry times to you!
