Well I haven't been on in a while. Not like on on. I mean I've checked it and maybe added a poem or two but I've been a recluse.
I wish to hold a contest now.
And I will allow anything. Welcome back poems, good bye poems, love, hate, etc.
HOWEVER!
I will allow it to be a options contest as well. With only a few options for those who need them.
I will allow pre-writes BUT fresh new poems have a better chance at winning.
RULES:
1. No Sticky Caps.
I DESPISE THEM!!!
2. list option if you use one in author's note.
3. have fun. I can tell if someone does it just to do it or if they truly mean it.
4. if you put multiple poems up(which will be allowed) do so and put the name of your other poems in the author's note as well. I'd like everyone to have a fair chance but i don't want just one person getting all the spots.
OPTIONS:
1. I just got a hamster. Give me, in a poetic way, a way to get her to like me. or anything about hamsters. Her name is Freya if you wish to write about her.
2. I now have my best friend and her daughter living with me. I love them both to death. Write about a friend living with you. or a kid you know or have.
3. Stars have always been a major part of my life. I've wished on them, stared at them, found shapes in them. everything. Write about what are stars, what they represent, what they mean to you.
4. I just read Macbeth and Hamlet. Write something like Shakespeare or put a part of the play in a modern day poetic form.
5. Turtles. The end. (will earn you brownie points)
