Matthew Slade artist. The image is called Translucent.
YES! this is my newest favorite artist. I love this backwords image, and all the vestiges of the imges inside the image. AWESOME. She's very pretty, but doesn't she look a little lost? I think that's what I'll call this contest. "LOST". . .
Use the picture, or simply the word, LOST.
Please, no preaching. I want to see what's inside this picture without a lecture. As far as the other rules, ahhhh...no rules;
Just don't get me into trouble. I will accept mature writes from poets 16 and over, because I know a few amazing poets that are severely hindered by this age barrier. If this gets me any static, I'll have to change it. . .that's it. Take off with it, and have fun. I cannot wait to read what you come up with.
Much love as always,
jin
Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on November 15, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 500, Silver: 300, Bronze: 150
- Final notes: This image certainly illicited some interesting takes here, in this contest.
I believe we all feel lost, and so it seems the word was more of a prompt, than the actual image.
Fine with me, I say.
Gold is awarded because it's just frikkin heartbreaking. . .silver because it's amazing in it's projection and artistic focus.
Bronze, well. . .because I felt that way too, not too long ag .
Thank you everyone, and congratulations to the winners.
