and Live Your Life they are on this site
they never won a contest but they are nice poems

Live Your Life
Take each moment and day to day ,
Do not throw your life away.
Remember yesterday and look for tomorrow.
There is no time to borrow.
Your Life is being thrown and tossed
trying to make up for things you lost.
Life is being rearranged again.
Life is full of pain.
I know life is hard.
But there is no time to discard.
Take each moment day to day
and do not throw your life away
So you will live your life;
Although everyone lives together in strife,
There is time for everything.
Do you hear the birds sing?
The animals are struggling and you are too.
If they can live so can you live life.
So take each moment and day to day
and do not throw your life away.
The Flood From Love
Let love be a big part of you: a part of you to give.
Love will always be a part of me
I may not show it,
I just feel it in my heart.
God made love for you and me
So never hide it
Always let it flow out to others.
We all need love.
Love is like a river or a stream which flows out to the ocean.
God gave us love; It can come from you and me.
Love is deep in the heart; Let it be a flood.
