Alayna and I are holding this contest on the prompt of being inspired by a piece of music. You get to choose this piece of music, but it must have no words. It could be classical music, ambient music, anything you'd like as long as it is all instruments. But you must provide a link to some place where we can hear the song. This could be youtube, imeem, anything.
In case you aren't familiar with much music like this, but are still interested, we have compiled a list of composers or artists or bands that you might want to check out:
Sigur Ros --- much of this bands work does have lyrics, but it is either icelandic or "hopelandic" which is a language composed completely of sounds, with no concrete meaning. so you may still use one of their songs.

you could add nightwish to the list - they do most (all) of their songs with lyrics, but for the dark passion play album they released an instrumental version of each song... they also released instrumentals of previous singles... does that count?
i think i'll be back later, to enter. my head is empty right now lol. -
