Illusionary Poetry

  1. The challenge is to write a poem with the following one word prompt. Any form or style but be careful with free verse, I hate chopped up prose with poor punctuation. I like that “Ah” factor, poetic device and a poem that shows that a bit of thought went into it.

    Prompt:

    Rules:
    1. Label accordingly
    2. No excessive profanity
    3. No Sticky caps or chat speak
    4. Plain backgrounds, boarders are permitted
    5. No pornography, erotica penned with class is Ok
6 Reservations accepted but if you don’t return to
finish it the poetry police will be notified.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on November 14, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 1000, Silver: 700, Bronze: 300, Honorable mention: 5 people
  • Final notes:
This contest was so difficult to judge because I thought every poem on the finalist list deserved a gold trophy and every single poem in the contest was a masterpiece. I finally made my choices subjectively by choosing the poems I liked the best. Thank you so much for the time and effort you all put into making this contest a success and I hope you all had fun.

    Love,
    Amera♥

It's really for a poem but perhaps you could enter just a simple Haiku wiyh it. I'd love to see the picture.

oh goodness, I sometimes don't express myself so well. I wasn't sure if I was allowed a picture with my poem.

        Sorry for the misunderstanding
