Contest #153 Autumn photo prompt by daviscth

This photo was taken in 2004. It’s at one of our state parks here in Ky. The kids are my daughter and son. Danielle and Danny. The day I took their picture under this tree, A guy had just proposed to his girlfriend under it.

Look at the picture and write whatever comes to mind. Just please try not to make it very long. (unless your muse won’t co-operate, in that case I understand. )

You may use the photo if you want. It’s one of mine.
You may enter more than once.

Thank you and good luck.
Cathy

Wow thanks for the Gold! I was sitting on my front porch yesterday waiting for my daughters pre-school bus to pick her up and the wind was blowing and gusting and the leaves were swaying and falling to the ground the inspiration for this poem actually came then. The first line I had to write down and then it just flowed. I so love Autumn thanks for hosting such a wonderful contest. Congrats to all the winners hugs Theresa Happy Autumn to all!
