no haiku or 5 line poems.
no 100+ line epics, i'm not in the mood.
no shitty emo/dp.
rhyme is accepted.
however, i'm not going to lie,
i'm pretty prejudiced against it.
that is because most rhyming poetry
on this site is terrible.
i won't dq anything,
but i am not promising comments this contest.
i am sure i will have a ton of really crappy entries.

But surely most people delete comments they feel are inappropriate - or on occasion, ignorant - like the one I once had criticizing a villanelle for having "too many repeats in it" - which is rather like criticizing an apple pie for having apples in it!

and if someone is desperate enough to delete their own comments in order to try to win a contest with a multitude of entries then... well that's their issue not mine

ummm ... what if it won a gold but got only one comment? ... i have some of those an an what bout thuh one that got 400 comments on my cell phone but none on the site here or the one that was my masterpeece magnol opus sort a and !!! ??? but only won nine golds and nobody ever commented ... an an i wouldn't remove it from a contest and eraise the darn stupid, moronic comments which I never get eh?

I have to say there's a lot of terrible free verse too
I never enter contests like these, in case you read my rhyme and tell me it's terrible! Or my free verse for that matter
