I know what you're thinking... 'how come another seven years on allpoetry contest' Well, I did just close a previous contest on the subject but I'm doing it again but just for new poems,
no prewrites.
On October 28th I celebrate
seven years on allpoetry
since Kevin invited me to join the site.
It's been very inspiring and rewarding to
be a part of
such a wonderful site and sharing
poetry and friendships.
To help me celebrate I'd like for you to share
some of your poetry in this contest.
You can enter whatever type of poetry you wish...
there's just a couple of rules:
No weird typing, type normal
No hardcore erotica, bashing of anyone,
or profanity
(a word or two is okay if pertinent to the poem)
If I feel your entry violates this rule I will remove it from the contest.
If submitting an adult poem, be sure to catagorize it as such
Your entry cannot be entered in another
current contest
while it is entered in this one
... okay, so that's more than a couple of rules, sorry about that

What you write about is up to you, whatever inspires your muse.

I couldn't decide on just three Honorable Winners so I'm giving HM's to all who didn't receive a trophy. Those three were hard to decide as well.

Though my account doesn't show it ...last month was my 7th year here. I can't believe how long I've existed on this website... I've seen a lot of people come and go, I've read a lot of poetry, I have written a lot of attempts at poetry...
and I'm still growing

Wow, I didn't realise time had flown so wuickly Dee, I had been here only three months when you joined and I hadn't noticed my seventh anniversary slipping by.

Each anniversary I think 'wow, I'm still hanging on here' and has been 5 years now. I have tried other poetry sites, but it's here that I really like spending some free time. You 7 years of AP! Oh my, I think once we get here we start suffering of acute APpendicitis

Seven! Where was I seven years ago? Lets see...2001? Oh my, I hadn't even gone to California yet, was still on another writing site in fact, before the owner kicked me off, lol. Got to run, real world beckons me. Will look at the contest tonight. Congrats for 7 years.
