Word Bank Anyone?

The following word bank is provided to offer you a poetic challenge. Please use at least two words from each category to create your poem. You may use each word in its original form, plural, or any change of tense as it fits your poem.

Cabbage
Careen
Careful

Farmer
Fortitude
Fountain

Haunting
Heighten
Horrify

Quaint
Qualified
Quickening

Remorse
Rigid
Ripple


Your poem may be on any subject, rhymed or not, and be at least 8 lines long.

THE RULES:

1. Please use at least two words from each group of three.
2. Spelling, grammar and punctuation will matter.
3. NO erotica, tastefully sensual is fine.
4. Credit any artwork used.
5. No cutting, suicide or self mutilation.
6. Please reference the words used in your author's notes.


YOU MUST HAVE FUN or it simply isn't worth it. Let it be an entertaining challenge for you. After all, it's all about the poetry.

    OH you guys certainly made me work with this one. So many wonderful entries and fine poetry that went above and beyond. If you have not read the entries in this contest, you owe it to yourself to do so for some truly remarkable poetry.

    I ended up selecting three finalist in addition to placing the top three. Though there will be no green trophies awarded in the contest, additional points will be sent to our three finalists at the contest close.
