Ok so this is sort of like a looking for poets type of deal. if i know you still enter! if i don't know you definately enter. Its kind of like a family thing but not quite. Im looking for active members to chat with about writing and different things. if that isn't you don't enter. So what exactly do i want?
YOU MUST DO BOTH OF 1 and 2 picking an option from 1 and any of your poems for 2
1) A poem relating to one of the below options (NEW POEM):
a) war
love
c) hope
d) despair
e) fear
f) politics
g) society
h) faith
i) religion
j) seasons/weather
k) music- just tell me the band/genre/song that is inspiring you
l) family/friends
m) death/life- suicide to a minimum preferably only if well written
ok so i think that covers a fairly broad spectrum...
2) a PRE-write that you enjoy. these will be to show me what else you enjoy writing about because lets be honest if i dont like how you write we will probably not talk much
3) check out my page if you hate how i write same as above.
4) add your name in the authors notes so that i can know which two are yours. thanks
Now there is a max of 25 poets and i will choose a winner by the following score:
75 points for NEW poem
25 points for prewrite
New poem:
15- imagery
15- structure (free verse is fine but does it flow? does it work? diction?)
15- style- (metaphors/similes etc. are they adding or detracting?
15- prompt- are you going after the prompt in a new way? are you saying the same old?
15- capture me. am i inspired? did you spark my interest?

I will add all of the winners and hopefully everyone who enters as friends. i look forward to some excellent entries.

- Final notes: Sorry that it took me a while to finally get time and internet in order to judge. There were some excellent poems and some of them really made it tough to decide on order. I haven't had so many poems to really work on and read through. I commented on EVERY entry and sometimes i know that i may have been slightly "rude" but it is what i felt was the honest truth. The winner, despite my personal distaste for giving the win to a prewrite especially one with trophies, is absolutely an amazing poem. Everyone should check it out. Thanks all and there are 8(the max) number of winners to everyone else im sorry some of you would get a trophy if i had been allowed more
