For my own reasons best left unsaid I am leaving AP...It's been a fun journey but the journey to ones self is a far greater learning tool and a new chapter I need to pursue.
To each and every poet on here who grew me as a writer I thank you and to the friends I made rest assured I will not forget any one of you.
So take the title of this contest and say goodbye to whomever you need to.

- Final notes: I want each and everyone of you to know I enjoyed all these poems. Seems you may have to put up with me for a few months longer due to a generous friend bequesting me a Gold membership for 3mths so this has become an early farewell. But I got to read such lovely thoughts that I can fade now whenever and know you will all be held in my thoughts and heart. Thank you so much all of you.

It seems you have been a lovely friend to many. I know you have been one of the few here that have truly touched my heart. As you know, I left ap for quite some time awhile back. So long in fact that I had to open this new account when I decided to come back. Since then, I have had to leave here and there again. You are right Lady C, that endings are only new beginnings in disguise. We all have chapters in our lives that need closing. It certainly pains my heart to know that ap is a closing chapter in yours; however, I respect you and I know that you are aware of what you need more than we. What I want you to know, from my heart, is that you have truly, truly touched me. From your kindness to your well of wisdom shared in your words. I do hope you will say hello when you stop in. For I will miss you, ever so much. I know for me allpoetry had become another addiction in a very long list and so I left. I was gone almost a year the first time. They say writing the pain helps, but I believe it only prevents one from moving past it. For the more we speak and write of the pain the more it dwells within us. Heal well my Lady C. You will be in my prayers.
