Who are you... Really?

How many times are you asked? How many times do you answer truthfully? Well, now it's your turn to tell it truthfully, in as many or as few words as you can. I implore you to be open and really let yourselves out in your submissions. Tell who you are... really. I'll listen.

Just a few simple rules for those of you who decide to take part:

1. I write in english and that's all I'll be reading in. If you so wish to use leet-speak or anything else short of good english, I will disqualify you in a heartbeat.

2. I'm not particular on the genre or theme of the write, but let it tell me about who you are outside the masks and shells you throw up for the world. make me cry, laugh, and experience a range of emotion. Simple, no?

3. Have fun doin' this! I want everyone to enjoy themselves!

4. Just to show that you've read the rules, put in the author's box: ( I am the Almighty Enigma. Fear me. )

EDIT: Any person entering that happens to miss the list rule will get one warning, after which you will have a time to fix this oversight. If you do not, I will then disqualify you. No excuses.

DOUBLE EDIT: I will accept reserving, but any reserves have to be up a day before the contest ends. If they're not... well, I think you get the point...

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on November 10, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 600, Silver: 300, Bronze: 150, Honorable mention: 5 people
  • Final notes:
Congratulations! As generic as it sounds, it was very hard to judge this contest and even harder to pick my favorites. However, I believe that everyone is more than a good poet here and I wish I could give everyone a prize. Thank you all for entering and giving your time.

    Sincerely,

    Dragon of the West
