Hello, fellow poets! This is my first contest and I'm really excited, so I hope it's successful and fun for everyone. :]
Lately, I've had no poetic inspiration. Hmm, that I think, is a lie. In fact, I've had the inspiration, but it has failed to manifest into a poem. Part of the reason is that every time I write poetry, love poetry in particular, I never think it's good enough for the person I'm writing for. She too kind and beautiful for words.
Which leads me to what I'm asking of you. I want love poetry. GOOD love poetry that goes out of the norm and inspired me to write again, preferrably a whole poem. lol So enter your best. I am accpeting pre-writes, but I have a few requests:
~I like creative. Be original and pen something I've not read before.
~Obviously, this is a contest fopr everyone, but gay love poetry is enjoyed a lot too, as...obviously...I am gay. lol
~NO cussing, erotica, or just plain nastiness!
~I reserve the right to DQ without explanation.
