First contest, hopefully not my last. We'll see... I have to get my mind wrapped around this whole concept. I've entered a few contests, and I feel like being a proper judge on poetry. I've seen so many poems that have won gold because of networking only, not for the quality of words.
Well, guess what kids? This is gonna be a well-earned poetry contest. Thank ya very much.
Now, I'd like NEW poems written based off the idea of falling. Of getting up again. Of repetition. A cycle poetry contest, if you will. Take it where ya like. I look forward to seeing the entries

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on October 19, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 500, Silver: 250, Bronze: 150
- Final notes: Thanks to everyone for participating. For a while, there were so few entrants, and not a lot of poems I was fond of...I'm also a little disappointed in how you cannot edit the point value, so now my pts are practically drained. In either case, thanks to everyone who participated! It was an interesting experience hosting a poetry contest.
