What Do You See? (Military version)

So I'm bored, and my last few contests I had to close due to lack of entries.
I thought I'd try again, with something a bit different for me.
And I have a lot of points.

So....what do you see when you look at that picture?
What is going on? What are they thinking?

Pick a soldier and tell me about them. Or tell me about all of them.

And fyi, this is an actual picture that I took myself.

Lots of points are up for grabs, so I expect you all to spell check and look over your poems before entering them.

Have fun!

I spent two tours at Camp Hovey, and about 6 months on the DMZ back in the day (1978 to 79) and (1984 to 85).

This was my frist time writing a poem just by looking at a picture, but I really enjoyed it...and thank you for serving our country.

Haven't left to go anywhere yet, but my unit is up for deployment in '09. This is the first time I've seen a military contest. Cool.
