Well, this is a contest for my brother, even though I probably won't show him the poems, because he won't really care, but I need to do this for me. My brother is not doing so hot in school at the moment, and my parents came down really hard on him tonight at parent/teacher conferences. He is really stressed and can't get homework done because I'm always playing the piano and he can't focus. Tonight, my mom told him she loved him, and he said I don't care. She also gave him a hug and he said I don't care. My mom is really worried about him, and it isn't good at all. He is just not having a good time at the moment.
So, in midst of this all, I feel that I should hold a contest for him. It's gonna be an options thing, but it's all about siblings....
Options:
1) Write about your own brother/sister
2) Write about the love/hate relationship between siblings
3) Write about fun/good times you've had with your siblings.
4) Write about a particular fight you remember, and really hate.
5) Write about family in general
Rules:
1) No erotica, emo, etc... this is about love, not stuff like that
2) No cussing whatsoever - it's completely unnecessary!
3) Have fun!!!

- Final notes: Wow this was an extremely successful contest. I had a really hard time judging it. The honorable mentions aren't in any particular order and I had to keep adding the number of them because I kept adding poems to the list!!! This was amazing and I thank all of you for all the wonderful entries. I really wish I could've given every single one of you some points. I didn't really say anything before, but this was really a nice thing to do, not only for your brother, it can be very rough when someone you really love is stressed out. It hurts to see them that way, but maybe one day you could show him all this, maybe not now, but someday.
