    I love that piccy
    it says polarity masculine
    I am a Ruthless Boar
yet, the character in the picture is feminine
so the dryad is already the spirit of the tree
and the woman is becoming one with the tree?

Yes, take from it what you will, but I feel the
Druid faith felt each spirit held both sides
(masculine and feminine), but only one would rise
to the surface or be shown through traits.
You will notice the gem is called "Queen of gems".
If I interpreted this for a write, I would write
the spirit as female in form but masculine in disposition.
      Hope that helps. Blue

        Thankyou so much

This does help me to understand better
I shall read more about this then decide whether to tackle
it. Sometimes I write things from contest ideas but don't always join the competition. If I write this I promise to share it with you. But first I must understand it fully.

        ty for clarifying

I am going to enter my poem in the contest. But it is a combination of an old poem and and a new. I will enter it as a pre-write.

    It remains unfinished so far
    have to go to work

Thank you for hosting; I loved the theme. Where I am in southern Germany, the old ways are still carried on even in these modern times in this tradition of bringing a whole ball of mistletoe in, not to stand under and kiss, but to ward off illness. It's one of the things I love. Glad you enjoyed and that I could share this.
