I want you to write a persona piece. I've seen lots of people do characters from films, historical figures, figures from paintings, etc.... for this contest, I want to see persona pieces of animals only. Why? Because it's not done as often.
I don't want frilly cliche personas - I want you to create a dense, complex being. The key to this - research. I don't care if you write about a fly or an elephant or the yeti - just make it an animal.
Things to think about as you write it:
What prompts your animal to speak?
Who is he/she speaking to?

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on October 13, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100
- Final notes: Greetings: there were entries into this contest altogether as you can see. The trophy winners not only followed the rules and seem to understand the concept of a persona, but they additionally add a sense of voice/voices to the persona(s) they represent. There was one more I would have liked to have added an HM next to - "No More". Good job and congrats.
