    I want to thank you for your patience with me while I commented and judged this contest—I had not intended to drag this contest out or to extend it, but as I said in my earlier message, health issues with a family member prevented me from judging this contest as quickly as I would have liked. So—I can’t thank you enough for understanding.

    I know everyone says this when contests are held, but this was a tough one, and I was honored with some really wonderful entries. I was blown away by the talent represented here.

    it's always worth trawling the contests, even tho' it's a bit soul-destroying sifting through all the rubbish; it's good in the end, for contests like this
