I am not the greatest poet, however I love to read great poetry. I want you to impress me with the BEST you have to offer.
I am allowing pre-writes so if you use one make sure you have read the rules first.
Ok, so now the rules
1) No StICky cAPs
2) No erotica - I am not interested
3) Cussing is to be kept to a minimal - and ONLY used IF necessary
4) No bashing on others
5) Write the name of the contest in the Author Notes
6) Make sure you use spell check
Give me your best. I will comment on all entries at the end of the contest that follow the rules.
If you do not follow the rules you will be disqualified.
As an added bonus, whoever wins GOLD will also be given the option to be published in my book "Broken Dreams".
Now, give me your BEST and GOOD LUCK!
So many submittions, so little points available. Because of the number of submittions I am recieving, I am going to end this contest prematurely. I will be allowing only a few more entries, then I am going to end the contest (unless I somehow come into a lot more points). Currently I do not have enough points to give honorable mentions to those whom I feel deserve them, so I will be offering all entrants that end up as finalists the option of being published within my book.
So get your poem submitted asap, because today will be the last day of the contest!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on October 6, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50
- Final notes: Thank you everyone for participating in my contest. It was difficult to judge, but I believe the awards went to the right people. I only wish I had more points to give to everyone that participated since all of the entries were worth points.

I have noticed that the majority of entries are not following the contest rules. Ensure you are putting the NAME of the contest in the Author Notes. GOOD LUCK to everyone
