This contest is for New Members who joined the Month of October ONLY. The only exception to this is IF you joined September 30th and have NOT entered September contest then you are eligible to enter this month's contest.

This contest is going to have 4 options. You may choose any one of them and write.. whichever inspires you first
But please make sure to NOTE the option number, you chose to write about in your 'Author's comments' area.
Option 1:
Give Thanks to the Lord..
To the fair world, the blue skies..
To the road leading home..
To strangers.. brothers, friends..
Be it to any one or anything, just write a note of Thanks..
Option 2:
Get inspired by the following picture:
Where does this road lead you to.. What is at the end of the road??
Make us see where would that grand lane take us to..
Option 3:
Sunset Dance
Get inspired and pen us a beautiful poem.
Option 4:
Yet another inspiring picture to drive your muses
Bring the picture alive..
Have Fun.. May this October be as colorful as this page is..
RULES:
1. No erotica or adult only type poems.
This contest is for all ages - so those who are under the age of 18 years and those who prefer to not view adult poetry need to be able to read the entries also.
2. No foul language.
3. No sTiCkY cApS or chat lingo
4. One entry per person - If you collaborate, the other poet must be a new [October] member also.
5. Entries must be 20 - 30 lines or less.
6. Please put the option number you have chosen in your author's notes. This is the section underneath your poem.
***Please make sure to check back from time to time after you submit your entry. There may be a notice of corrections or editing that may need to be done. It would be a shame if you are disqualified because you didn't do this.***
Before submitting your poem, please ask yourself the following:
• Does this meet closely with the requirements of the contest?
• Did you go over the poem and check for any grammatical or typographical errors?
• If you were judging, would you be able to see how this would or would NOT win placement?

I had sooooooo much fun!
my poem is called The summer seamstress and i had soooooo much fun writing it i just let my mind wander into the picture and just started typing was sooo good thank you for these amazing options particularly option 4
