Everyone needs a family and I'm no different. Help me build my AP zoo, and I do mean ZOO. Take a look at my profile http://allpoetry.com/Paloszoo before even going any further. My life is a zoo, but I need some people in it to help me stay sane. I'm looking for any family members and even new pets if you'd like to be my trained monkey.
Here are your options:
1. Write a poem to me tellimg me which family member you want to be and why. How would you fit into my family? Tell me also about yourself in your poem. Be detailed. Write also in the AN what you want to be.
2. Take one of my poems (http://allpoetry.com/poem/by/Paloszoo) and write a poetic response to it. Choose one that has significant meaning. Word of advice: Don't try to fix me. Write in the AN which of my poems your writing a response to.
3. Write a poem on an animal that means something to you. Make it beautiful. Choose your totem and make it even more special! If you don't make it obvious in your poem, write in the AN what you're writing on.
Want to know a little bit more about me before joining my zoo? I think it's important to know whose family you're joining! Read more about me through my poems. 90% of my poems are personal and directly related to my life.
Any questions, just ask.
And now for the rules:
1. Be kind and courteous to me and other poets, please.
2. nO StUpId wRiTiNg LiKe tHiS oR i WiLl Dq YoU!!!!
3. Nothing over 40 lines. Anything longer and I'll go to sleep!!
4. No sticky caps.
5. Not a requirement, but I encourage you to comment on at least one other poet's entry. This is just common courtesy.
HAVE FUN!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on October 10, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 150, Bronze: 75, Honorable mention: 30 people
- Final notes: Ok, first let me say that I wanted to give everyone a GOLD. That's a fact. This was the most difficult contest to judge, because I'm so incredibly honored that any of you would enter. I'm teary eyed as I write this. To have any of you in my family is such a gift. Thank you for making my day. The HM's couldn't possibly be in any order of preference, because I love them all equally. It poem was special to me in its own unique way.
