My Best Friend

I just sort of recently lost my best friend. She was actually my pet cat, but she was with me for 11 years and we always considered her part of the family. I know, that sounds strange, but it's not your prompt. Don't worry about it.

So here's what I want from you, you have two options:

1) I want you to write for me about your best friend. Not just about them and how wonderful your friendship is! I want you to write about a time you struggled through, and the best friend that was there to support you. I want to know about that side of your best friend.

2)Tell me what you think a best friend is. What qualities do they have to have, what kind of person do they have to be, before you can turn around and call them your best friend. What sets them apart from all the other friends you have. You have a best friend, everyone does. You have an idea of what a best friend should be, I have mine...and I wanna know what you think!



So there are my options.

3)Be a nice contestant and comment on at least one other entry!

    Hey, you guys! I'm so sorry it took me so damn long to judge this contest, but I finally did. So here are my results, and I thank you all so much for being patient as well as entering! It was a tough choice, but thank you!

    Since it took me so long, however, I figure I owe you guys something. So message me because I'm giving up to 500ish points away for free.     ok this is pathetic, no contest should take almost 2 months to judge so im just taking my enty out cuz waiting for over a month is just sad.

      i'll be judging it this weekend, one way or another. i apologize, life has just been super...out of whack the past month. but ok, one less poem i have to worry about. sorry!
