Prose Writers - 10 Spots Open


Sensual prose can be about anything beautiful.  It doesn’t necessarily mean
you have to write about love or the making of it, although both are permitted as long as you keep it...sensual.  No vulgarity.

Please avoid cliches.  Nothing bores me more.

 

NO reservations.  Sorry.

No longer than FOUR paragraphs.

You will be judged on:

Originality - Put some imagination into your writing

Presentation - Your prose should flow effortlessly from one thought to another

Appearance - Edit your work to the best of your ability - sloppiness in spelling and grammar will hurt your chances of winning.

 

I will add HM’s if the entries warrant them.

I will also judge fairly - in the end, it all comes down to the “oomph” factor.  You should strive for that.  Would YOU want to read your entry? Would it give YOU tingles and curl your toes?


Most of all, have fun.  Contests are designed to inspire and challenge our
writing skills.
