fig – wherever it leads you….
- poems only; no prose or acrostics
- left align and plain background
- apply poetic device
- I prefer free verse
- only rhyme if you can do it VERY well
- I've opened the contest for prewrite - only if they fit the theme
(and for one day only)
I may add a judge at a later stage

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on October 7, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 1000, Silver: 750, Bronze: 450, Honorable mention: 4 people
- Final notes: The winning poems were the ones I thought gave me that "extra special" something that I was looking for in this contest - especially using "fig" as metaphor and delving deeper.
I did however enjoy each and every poem in this contest - some very nice tasty treats and delightfully different entries. Thank you, poets and congratulations to the winners, but also to each and everyone!
